San Jacinto Peak Sunset
$10.00 – $100.00
It’s well known that living in Southern California brings an abundance of sunshine and great weather. Sunsets are definitely an amazing spectacle in this region. With the persistent sunny weather and grand Pacific Ocean right off the coast, most people flock to the coast to capture sunsets. In all fairness, it’s within good reason too. Not only is it more convenient but watching the sun set over the water looks incredible.
This picture was taken on the way back down after reaching San Jacinto Peak in the San Jacinto Wilderness. This peak is part of the Southern California Six Pack Of Peaks. To be honest, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect of this mountain trail but it turned out to be one of my favorite trails I’ve ever hiked. The trail leading through the San Jacinto Wilderness can easily make a person feel like they’re not even in Southern California.
Looking west from the mountain a person can see Lake Hemet, Riverside County, the Irvine Moutains, and as far as Catalina Island in the Pacific Ocean. This evening in particular, the sky lit up and the forest had a beautiful golden glow. This sunsets turned out to be one of the most memorable sunsets I’ve ever seen.
