Fall Bridge Yosemite

People have said that Yosemite National Park isn’t exactly known for it’s fall colors I tend to disagree. While it’s certainly no East Coast, I think the foliage in the heart of the Valley puts on an amazing display of colors. What I like about the the colors of Yosemite is that the yellow and gold undergrowth looks great against the greens and browns of the conifer forests.
This photo was shot in the heart of Yosemite Valley on on iconic bridge that crosses the Merced River. The morning was cold and a little damp as a storm had just blown through the area. There were thick pockets of fog in some portions of the valley that made for some errie fall feelings.
