Mount Wilson Ladybugs
$10.00 – $100.00
One of the reasons I enjoy hiking so much is because of the way that you can come across things in nature that wouldn’t otherwise be seen. While hiking Mount Wilson as part of the Southern California Six Pack of Peaks Challenge, I came across something that I’ve never seen before. I came across a colony of ladybugs perched along a rock along the trail. I love the way the red contrasts against the rock and bright background in this photo.

An interesting note about ladybugs is that they were initially introduced into North America from Asia as a way to control aphid infestations on crops.
The print is digitally printed on high quality gloss paper.
