Mexican Sand Dollar
$10.00 – $100.00
One of the unfortunate things of walking the beaches in the United States is that they’re so heavily populated and trafficked. While Mexican environmental laws aren’t quite on the same page as the United States, the beaches aren’t nearly as traversed. This leaves walking along the beach a little bit more of an experience. I was walking along the beach in Ensenada and came across the portion of the beach that was littered with Sand Dollars.
Sand Dollars are actually a flattened species of sea urchins. What I loved about this particular Sand Dollar was that there was another shell on top of it. I love the vivid colors in this photo against the gray of the overcast skies in the background.
